Safeguarding the children and vulnerable adults that we come into contact with is crucial to us. Our community team and children and families work is all overseen through Safer Recruitment procedures including the relevant volunteer and employment checks. Our staff and volunteers also participate in regular Safeguarding training.
Our safeguarding lead is Jo Williams, who has over 20 years of experience in Children and Families Safeguarding Social Work. We connect with other organisations and networks, including the Southampton Churches Safeguarding Network.
Ann Galbraith is the trustee with responsibility for ensuring that our Safeguarding responsibilities are adhered to.
